1. Overview 

FieldMeasure is a professional audio measurement tool for iOS, developed by Attaway Audio / Hope Software Group. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data. 

We are committed to protecting your privacy. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. 

 

2. Information We Collect 

We collect only the minimum information necessary to provide the app's functionality: 

 

Account Information (if you sign in): 

  • Email address
  • User ID (generated automatically)

 

Measurement Data You Create:

  • Speaker system configurations you enter
  • Measurement session data and notes
  • Project names and related metadata

 

Technical & Usage Data:

  • App version and iOS version
  • Device type (iPad model)
  • Crash reports and error logs (used for bug fixes only)

 

We do NOT collect location data, microphone audio recordings, contacts, photos, or any other sensitive device data.

 

3. How We Use Your Information 

We use your information solely to: 

  • Sync your measurement projects across your devices
  • Enable you to retrieve and review past sessions
  • Improve app stability and fix technical issues
  • Authenticate your account securely

 

We do not use your data for advertising or marketing purposes.

 

4. Data Storage & Security 

Your data is stored securely using Supabase, a cloud database infrastructure provider. Data is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections. Access to your data is protected by row-level security policies, meaning only your account can access your measurement data.

5. Data Retention 

Your account data and measurement projects are retained as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us (see Section 8 below). Upon verified request, we will delete your data within 30 days. 

 

6. Third-Party Services 

FieldMeasure uses the following third-party service: 

  • Supabase (database and authentication infrastructure)

 

We do not integrate with any advertising networks, analytics platforms that track individual behavior, or social media services.

 

7. Children's Privacy 

FieldMeasure is intended for professional and semi-professional audio engineers. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 13. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately. 

 

8. Your Rights & Contact 

You have the right to: 

  • Request a copy of the data we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your account and data

9. Changes to This Policy 

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the Effective Date at the top of this document. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
